.يقول الله تعالى: ﴿وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَى خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍ﴾ [ القلم: 4]

Allāh (SWT) Says:

"And indeed, you are of a great moral character". (Al-Qalam-4).

وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ قَدْ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ بُعِثْتُ لأُتَمِّمَ حُسْنَ الأَخْلاَقِ. ‏"‏ ‏(مالك).

And the Messenger of Allāh, may Allāh bless him and grant him peace, said, "I was sent to perfect good character." ( Mālek)..

Far from being superfluous or trivial, noble character and good manners are part and parcel of Islām and are related to it in all its aspects.
