The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Said:
“The Qur’ān has been revealed in seven different Aḥruf (ways), so recite it in the way that is easier for you.” [Sahih Al-Bukhārī:2419].
• The best opinion in this regard is that of Ibn Al-Jazrī, who stated that the seven Aḥruf refer to seven types of variations. These variations led to different ways of recitation, known as the ten Qirā’āt. In these variations, the words of the Qur’ān can be read in different ways, but the meanings remain consistent, ensuring there is no contradiction.
• Our teachers will assist you in understanding the linguistic basics and variations found in the ten Qirā’āt, which have been transmitted through a trustworthy chain of narrators, beginning with the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH): Qirā’at Nāfi’ Al-Madanī, Qirā’at Ibn Kathīr, Qirā’at Abu Amr Al-Basrī Qirā’at, Ibn Aamir Ash-Shamī ,Qirā’at Asim al-Kufī, Qirā’at Hamzah Al-Kufī, Qirā’at.
