قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَمْ يَكُنْ فَاحِشًا وَلاَ مُتَفَحِّشًا وَقَالَ " إِنَّ مِنْ أَحَبِّكُمْ إِلَىَّ أَحْسَنَكُمْ أَخْلاَقًا ." ( صحيح البخارى ).
Allāh's Messenger (ﷺ) neither talked in an insulting manner nor did he ever speak evil intentionally. He used to say,
"The most beloved to me amongst you is the one who has the best character and manners." (Sahīh Al-Būkharī).
Do you want to be like the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ? Kind, respectful, clean, honest, and loved by everyone around him?
• We should raise our children according to Islamic principles since they are an Amānah from Allāh (SWT), so the parents should focus on cultivating virtues such as honesty, kindness, compassion, humility, and patience in their children.
• The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) exemplified these qualities in his own life, serving as a role model for all believers.
• Tarbiyah – the actual education in Islam, Tarbiyah is an Arabic word that linguistically means: increase, nurture, rear, growth, or loftiness. The ultimate goal of moral values education is to make morally correct choices and decisions on their own come out of Islamic Moral and Ethics.
Let’s raise little Muslims with big hearts and beautiful manners—just like our beloved Prophet ﷺ.
