:يقول الله تعالى
.(لقمان ٤ـ٥) ".ٱلَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَهُم بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ.أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ عَلَىٰ هُدًۭى مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُون"
Allāh Almighty Says:
"Those who establish prayer, pay alms-tax, and have sure faith in the Hereafter.It is they who are ˹truly˺ guided by their Lord, and it is they who will be successful." (Loqmān 4-5).
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ:
" أَرَأَيْتُمْ لَوْ أَنَّ نَهَرًا بِبَابِ أَحَدِكُمْ، يَغْتَسِلُ فِيهِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ خَمْسًا، مَا تَقُولُ ذَلِكَ يُبْقِي مِنْ دَرَنِهِ ". قَالُوا لاَ يُبْقِي مِنْ دَرَنِهِ شَيْئًا.
.( صحيح البخارى 528) قَالَ: "فَذَلِكَ مِثْلُ الصَّلَوَاتِ الْخَمْسِ، يَمْحُو اللَّهُ بِهَا الْخَطَايَا"
Narrated Abu Huraira:I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) Saying,
"If there was a river at the door of anyone of you and he took a bath in it five times a day would you notice any dirt on him?" They said, "Not a trace of dirt would be left." The Prophet (ﷺ) added, "That is the example of the five prayers with which Allah blots out (annuls) evil deeds." ( Sahih al-Bukhari 528).
• The pillars of faith and all acts of worship are performed help one gets close to Allāh ﷻ.
• Salāh, too, helps bring one close to Him ﷻ as it is the link’ between a servant and his Lord.
